Our Mission

AEL Advocacy is Canada's first and only intersectional animal and environmental law organization.

We strive to create a legal system that recognizes the interdependence between humans, animals, and the environment, and we are committed to supporting individuals, communities, and organizations working towards this shared goal. Through our in-depth knowledge of the legal and political landscape, we aim to secure a better future for all animals and their habitats by advocating for their protection, providing educational resources, and offering legal support.

EDUCATION

AEL Advocacy strives to raise awareness and understanding of intersectional animal and environmental issues through comprehensive public legal education initiatives. We develop and disseminate accessible resources to empower individuals, communities, and organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to advocate for animals and the environment effectively.
